March 8 – Support Trans Youth with a Special Meet Me at the State House Day of Action

The SC United for Justice & Equality coalition, in partnership with organizations across South Carolina, is excited to invite LGBTQ+ and allied South Carolinians for a special edition of Meet Me at the Statehouse, an organizing initiative in 2023 dedicated to training up South Carolinians on best practices for engaging elected officials around issues of LGBTQ+ equality, reproductive justice, and racial justice.

On March 8 the Meet Me at the Statehouse event will focus on the slate of anti-transgender healthcare bills, which attempt to restrict access to gender-affirming care for South Carolinians up to the age of 25.

This day will be an opportunity for us to come together, be in community, and take action in support of transgender youth. Detailed schedule to come – but for now, please RSVP below and tell us you’re coming.
