Sign up for our Virtual Voter Registration Workshop!

As we all know too well, this past year has been challenging following an increase in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation here in South Carolina. Over the past few years, we’ve seen attacks on trans communities, misinformation about drag performers, and increases in bans on books that cover LGBTQ+ or diverse themes.

In an effort to educate our community, and reinforce the importance of using your voice this election, SC United for Justice & Equality is partnering with the Harriet Hancock LGBT Center on a virtual event about the importance of registering to vote and helpful resources for voting in local elections.

Join us on Thursday, September 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm! This event is 100% virtual to ensure everyone from around South Carolina has the opportunity to participate.

While this event is free, registration is required to obtain virtual video links to join the meeting. A recording will be provided for those who registered, but are unable to attend. If you have any questions you’d like us to address during the event, please share them below and we’ll be sure to have an answer for you.

Please RSVP for our September 5th virtual workshop in South Carolina, and we’ll follow up with the Zoom link where you can join the event.
