Today the U.S. Senate is set to take a critical vote on the Respect for Marriage Act, a bill that would protect the freedom to marry for same-sex couples and interracial couples at the federal level.

We ask everyone to call your senator immediately and tell them to vote NO on H. 5399. Phone calls and in-person meetings are the MOST effective thing you can do to move legislators.

This fall the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in South Carolina has taken center stage again – and we need more South Carolinians to speak out and share their stories about why marriage matters to them.
